PGA Tour schedule 2018-19 revealed

The PGA Tour unveiled its schedule for the 2018-19 campaign, officially listing the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit for June 24-30 at Detroit Golf Club.

The FedExCup Playoffs will feature only three events for 2018-19 instead of four like in years past.

The PGA Tour made an annual stop in Minnesota from 1930-69, mostly at Keller Golf Course in Maplewood.

Green has been fabulous in her first two days in Lexington, this after starting the tournament with a bogey on her second hole Monday and then adding a triple bogey on her third.

The PGA Tour announcing its revamped schedule on Tuesday with the first ever FedEx St. Jude Invitational set to run from July 25th through the 28th next year, bringing the top 50-60 players in the world to the Bluff City for one of the PGA's 4 World Golf Championship events. The Players' Championship is also moving from May to mid-March.

The PGA agreed to a 7-year contract to have the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine host the 3M Open. The TPC Boston, meanwhile, will rotate with a New York-area course every other year for the opening FedEx Cup playoff event. The BMW Championship will be held at Chicago's Medinah No. 3 in 2019 followed by the Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta.

Strzok argued that Mueller did not remove him from his team because of bias, but because of the perception the texts created. Jeffress added that Page received word from the Justice Department only "after 11 p.m".

The tournament was already in full-go mode, but Tuesday's announcement by the PGA Tour cemented the date, allowing golf fans to pencil it in on their calendars. "By concluding at the end of August, the FedExCup playoffs no longer have the challenge of sharing the stage with college and professional football", Monahan said.

How will the PGA Tour crown its FedEx Cup champion?

A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier does not appear on the schedule because it is being moved to a fall slot, and will be included on the 2019-2020 Tour schedule. The Mexico Championship will move to the end of the West Coast Swing, giving Florida four straight tournaments in March. So even though a major championship has been moved to end the season earlier, it really doesn't alleviate any of the scheduling glut for big-name players who are, at minimum, looking at five tournaments in six weeks, including a major and a WGC.

After the RBC Heritage and Zurich Classic of New Orleans comes the Wells Fargo Championship.

The Open Championship, meanwhile, will be held at Royal Portrush July 15-21, marking its return to Northern Ireland after almost 70 years.

"There are many ups and downs in golf so you can't get too high about it or too excited for it, but I'm feeling pretty good about [my round]", said Melton, whose previous lowest score was a 64.
