OnePlus 6T pre-order listing 'confirms' handset's full specs
That's not insignificant, especially since OnePlus has spent years ribbing the competition over ditching it while their phones have had a 3.5mm port all of the way through their last release, the OnePlus 6.
As per the listing, the OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED waterdrop notch display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 91.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Moving on to performance, the listing confirms the OnePlus 6T will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor as the OnePlus 6. The extra space created by 3.5mm jack's removal could also come in handy as the handset is coming with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Speaking to TechRadar, Pei did not actually reference the OnePlus 6T directly - just the "next OnePlus handset". Like all previous OnePlus smartphones, the 6T will not include a microSD card slot for further expansion.
Google is Shutting Down Inbox
The app presented features not found in the Gmail experience and earned itself some faithful users as a result. Google launched Inbox in 2014 as an alternative to the company's popular Gmail web service.
Shutterbugs will be happy to see that 6T rocks triple rear cameras, including a 20-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor and a Time-of-Flight sensor that's made for capturing 3D images.
We don't know yet how much they'll cost or when exactly they'll ship. Your selfies should be super-sharp, thanks to a 25-megapixel front camera. The smartphone should include support for all the latest standards such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, NFC, USB Type-C., and 4G VoLTE.
Pei also said that the freed up space could be used to improve battery life to an extent where the difference would be "substantial enough for users to realize". Their reasoning involves the timing being right, that they'll substantially increase battery life and add other tech in place, and that an included dongle will ease the transition. The exact variant, however, has not been listed. As for launch date, the OnePlus 6T is now listed as being out of stock on Giztop. There will reportedly be different models, including 6GB and 8GB of RAM split between 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of storage. The listing says the smartphone will not be available until October 16.
