Not only is Seattle signing Kendricks, he is expected to play for the team on Monday night against the Chicago Bears, per Schefter. The Seahawks have yet to confirm the Kendricks signing and this story is continuing to develop.

While Mychal Kendricks awaits sentencing in December, the linebacker isn't ousted from the National Football League just yet.

LB Mychal Kendricks, released by the Browns following charges of insider trading, is signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks, per sources.

Reports surfaced Thursday that Kendricks, a former Eagles' linebacker who most recently signing with the Browns, was visiting Seattle.

It's no secret that free agent linebacker Mychael Kendricks is a quality talent on the field, but he's had trouble finding a job after pleading guilty to insider trading on September 6. Kendricks will learn of his fate at a sentencing hearing in December.

Kendricks first made headlines in late August when charges of insider trading were brought against the six-year National Football League veteran.

The Browns released him August 29, after the charges were filed.

Besides the legal trouble, Kendricks could also be facing a potential punishment from the NFL. According to US attorney William M. McSwain, Kendricks was able to profit due to the fact that he was receiving insider tips from TV writer Damilare Sonoiki.

Drafted in the second round by Philadelphia out of Cal in 2012, Kendricks appeared in 85 games (74 starts) with the Eagles from 2012-17.
