Fomer Sweden International Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a stunning goal in the MLS on Sunday
But his 500th career goal in the United States left fans incredulous as to how he pulled it off, completing a roundhouse kick to convert an assist from Jonathan dos Santsos to pull one back for the California team after they went 3-0 down.
During his glitering career, Ibrahimovic has also won 33 trophies, though adding to that tally with the Galaxy this season could prove tough as the club now sits eighth in the Western Conference and out of the MLS playoff places.
Despite the world class goal, Galaxy went down 5-3 to Toronto in a classic.
Buoyed by the goal, Galaxy drew level at 3-3 on 58 minutes but goals from Jonathan Osorio and Jay Chapman gave Toronto the victory.
Florence rains wash away New Bern’s beloved statues

The Swede joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the only active players to reach the milestone, which includes goals for club and country.
Ibrahimovic scored 62 of his goals for Sweden with the rest coming while playing for Malmo FF, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and now the Galaxy. "It reminds me of a goal I did in Ajax", said Ibrahimovic, who has five game winners for Los Angeles.
It took Ibrahimovic's season tally to 17 goals and the former Manchester United star added: "I was close to the goal". It came from a cross and I turned around and hit it.
