"I support the women and they need to be heard", Melania Trump told ABC's "Good Morning America" in a snippet of an interview aired Wednesday.

In a one-on-one interview with Trump in Egypt, Llamas asked the first lady her thoughts on #MeToo and supporting women.

Asked if that means she thinks accused men have been unfairly treated, she said the accused have to provide proof to be believable.

She declined to say which organizations specifically had refused to work with her.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, at least 13 women accused Donald Trump of misbehavior ranging from sexual harassment to sexual assault.

"I feel they are choosing the politics over helping others", she said. "They don't have any facts", she had said.

Trump was away on a trip to Kenya last week as Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing took place.
