Vote.org also saw a definite jump in traffic in the wake of her Instagram post.
KamariGuthrie, the director of communications for Vote.org, told BuzzFeed News that the organization was "up to 65,000 registrations in a single 24-hour period" since Swift'spost.
Guthrie told BuzzFeed that Swift's post led to Vote.org having 155,940 unique visitors, which is the second-highest total behind National Voter Registration Day on September 25, where the organization saw 304,942 unique visitors.
New voter registration has surged in the wake of pop superstar Taylor Swift's rare political statement on Sunday. That's more than the amount of registrations from the entire month of August, which was 56,669, and more than a third of the 190,178 that registered throughout September.
President Trump and Republicans have criticized Swift following her surprise statement endorsing Tennessee Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Phil Bredesen over Republican candidate Marsha Blackburn.
Swift has been famously silent on political matters in the past, causing some to speculate an allegiance with President Donald Trump, while others skewered her for remaining quiet during the 2016 election. "And let's say that I like Taylor's music about 25 percent less now, OK?"

She represented Tennessee's 7th congressional district.
Fox News brought on Charlie Kirk, founder of the conservative nonprofit Turning Point USA, to both condemn Swift's message and to insult her intelligence.
Swift said the congresswoman "voted against equal pay for women".
She also acknowledged her past reluctance to address political issues but said that had changed in the past two years.
Swift's Instagram post had recommended people visit the website Vote.org.
Swift's reach is massive, she has nearly 30 million more Twitter followers than President Donald Trump and has acquired a loyal fan base since her first album released 12 year ago. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples.
"I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country", Swift said. The deadline for voter registration in many states was October 9.
MEANWHILE, MAGA supporter Kanye West is scheduled to meet Trump this week at the White House.

Midway I was accosted by this man who was driving his own auto and he asked me to sit in it and said he would drop me home. Vinta in a post on her Facebook account has alleged the lead actor of the soap opera of sexually exploiting her back then.
Kim Jong-un invites pope to Pyongyang
While Mr Kim's actions since have fallen short of Washington's demands, the Trump administration is preparing for a second summit. Pompeo told journalists in Seoul that the leader had agreed to open up the Punggye-ri nuclear testing site to inspectors.
Female Dr Who a hit with viewers
The episode itself was, as the Brits say, bog-standard, as far as Who episodes go. "I know exactly who I am". Friendship, loyalty and survival. "So even though they're gone from the world, they're never gone from me".
How Venom Just Broke Box Office Records
The third movie in the Rowan Atkinson-starring spy comedy opened to £4.1 million, over a million more than Bradley Cooper's drama. However, the role also came with a bit of pressure, especially because Shangela said Gaga "handpicked" her to be in the film.
