Reese's unveiled its new "candy converter" at the Tarrytown Annual Halloween Parade earlier this month, and the helpful vending machine is coming to New York City on Wednesday. As such, the day before Halloween, October 30th is now being observed as an official holiday: National Candy Corn Day. Yup, that's it, you give them inferior candy, they give you better ones. You put all the Halloween candy you have no interest in - like Tootsie Rolls, Good & Plenty, and Dots (sorry!) - into the converter and then voila!
But don't despair if you're outside the exchange territory: A Reese's rep says, "Stay tuned for Halloween 2019".
