'Germany, France, Britain, US and Saudi Arabia listened to Khashoggi tapes'

"We gave them the tapes. We gave them to Saudi Arabia, to America, to the Germans, the French, to the British, to all of them", Mr Erdogan said. Riyadh said that 18 people had been arrested due to their suspected involvement in the incident, and that they would be put on trial in Saudi Arabia.
The audio appears to have been obtained by the bugging of the Saudi consulate, which is in contravention of the Vienna Convention and therefore illegal under global law.
Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi speaks during a news conference in Manama, Bahrain.
However, MEE understands that Mujeb, who visited Istanbul last month, did not offer an alternative version of events.
Earlier on Thursday Al Jazeera reported that the Turkish investigators found traces of "hydrofluoric acid and other chemicals" inside a well at the Saudi consul general's home in Istanbul. Cengiz said in her Friday tweet.
"I'm unable to express my sorrow to learn about dissolving your body Jamal!" They killed you and chopped up your body, depriving me and your family of conducting your funeral prayer and burying you in Madinah as wished.
The residence is at walking distance from the Saudi consulate, where Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist critical of the Saudi government and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was killed by a team of Saudi officers and officials.
However, Erdogan has accused the "highest levels" of the Saudi government of being behind the murder.
"A team of 15 men can not come to Turkey to kill a Saudi citizen without orders", he said, adding that "the people who killed Khashoggi received instructions from someone".
Saudi Arabia had insisted for weeks after Khashoggi disappeared that he had walked out of the consulate, before changing its account to say he died in a brawl.
Erdoğan also said on that he may meet U.S. President Donald Trump in Paris during the commemorations.
Khashoggi was last seen entering the consulate on October 2 to obtain documents for his forthcoming marriage. "They know for certain who among the 15 is the killer or are the killers", he said.
