Pandya appeared on the show with KL Rahul and both of them are facing major criticism for their behaviour on the show.
The Committee of Administrators has issued a show cause notice to the pair, seeking an explanation within 24 hours regarding their comments on women on the talk show.
The BCCI's move comes a day after Hardik issued an apology on Twitter, which was quite similar to apologies issued by many men during the Me Too movement, simply because they had been caught.
It seems the apology and clarification to the show cause notice served by the BCCI will not guide Hardik Pandya out of troubled waters.
Pandya wrote, "After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way". Earlier on Wednesday, the BCCI issued a show cause notice against Pandya and KL Rahul.
